In this series, he pays homage to the community that has raised him and will continue to raise generations to come. He explore the intricate features of his neighborhood, Nima, which by many is considered a major slum community in the heart of Accra, Ghana, but for Musah is simply home.

The Nima full of migrants from rural Ghana as well as neighboring African countries. The Nima where you can walk down any block and encounter individuals of various nationalities, languages and religions, adding to Nima’s rich culture and diversity.
As Musah depicts the complexity of Nima in this series, he do so through the use of mixed material works on canvas and wood, reflecting upon his life as a Nima resident and portraying the everyday lives of Nima residents from all walks of life.
