This month’s (May) bird walk takes place on the 30th of May, 2015 (between 07h00 and 09h00) at Dawhenya Dam . We had a lovely time last month at the Legon Botanical Gardens as attendance was very encouraging and the birds more beautiful than ever! All bird lovers back in town and those of us still in the country should kindly save the date to attend this month's bird walk.
To see photos, visit the Flickr account for the bird walk, which Paul was kind enough to help us set up http://www.flickr.com/groups/ghana_monthly_bird_walks/. Please add any Ghanaian bird photos you might have and contribute comments on existing photos.
Kindly assist us by spreading the word about the bird walk. This is a one of the free monthly bird-walk exercises at sites in and around Accra and is open to everyone, young and old, so do pass on the message. Carpooling is greatly encouraged.
