Kalenjin Cultural Festival activities will commence on Thurday 01st December 2016 at 0800 hours GMT with a Marathon (42 kms), a Half marathon (21 kms) and 10 kms run code named “MOI Marathon” (In regnition of retired Kenyan President Daniel Torotich Arap Moi's contribution to peace and stability in Africa) and aimed at raising funds for Little Angels Nursery and primary school (a local community based school for the poor located in the cultural village). The exact route will be marked by National Athletic Federation and the marathon will be flagged off by Hon. GIDEON MOI, The Baringo County Senator and also a Kalenjin from Kenya.
