On the occassion of the World Environment Day on June 5th, Kenya Model United Nations (Multimedia University Chapter), Nairobi Urban Creators and Miss Environment Kenya(Trans Nzoia County) have partnered to organize an environment conservation event at Multimedia University. This event is aimed at celebrating the achievements made from a six-month long campaign that was aimed at creating awareness among the Multimedia University Community about the importance of conserving the environment. The program of the day will consist of presentations, panel discussions and focused group work that will focus on the following three areas: 1. Existing Environmental Conservation Policies and the SDGs 2. Achieving a Sustainable Urban Environment 3. The Role of Non-State Actors in Environmental Conservation 4. Linking environment with safety and peace At the end of the event, there will be a tree planting session.
