Event Details
The International School Of Uganda (ISU) is proud to announce this year’s ISU Middle School Art’s Festival will celebrate Africa’s daughters and sons – the individuals who have been successful contributing to their communities, nations and the world. Students have been researching and studying various African figures such as Asnath Mahapal, Akii Bua, Kofi Annan, Genzebi Dibaba and many more.
The festival will take place on June 7, 2017 at ISU, Lubowa. At 4:00pm folks will meet just above the Sports Hall to enjoy a late lunch/early dinner. Plenty of space will be available for families to picnic along with tables to arrange food. In the African spirit, we are requesting that each family bring food to share with other families. Through this gesture, we hope to reinforce a sense of community and fellowship across the leopard land.
At 6:00pm the festival will begin. We will gather in the Sports Hall to immerse in the regalia of the art our middle schoolers have to offer.
