MESH Confab May, 2015
Sat, May 16. 11:00AM - 5:00PM
British Council Liberia Road, Accra, Ghana
MESH Confab is our flagship event with an objective to assemble the very best of Ghanaian creativity under one roof for purposes of meeting, exploring and sharing in real life. So far our events have taken the form of keynote presentations by renowned creatives, portfolio reviews where participants present their creative portfolios to other participants to receive feedback on their creative work and more recently, a live creative session where participants get a glimpse of the creative process of fellow creatives. These offer opportunities for networking collaboration and discovery. We have organised and successfully held 5 of such events with attendance numbers leaping from 9 creatives in our maiden event in 2012 to 200 creatives in our last and most recent event in November 2014, fast becoming the must attend event for creatives to meet and share their work.
With the success of our previous event as well as request and feedback from our followers we are expecting a cross section of the Ghanaian creative industry including but not limited to architects, fashion designers, digital and graphic artists, illustrators, web designers, filmmakers and the likes. We are also inviting some leading creative individuals, brands and outfits to take the opportunity to discover young talent for possible commissions or recruitment. Our special Guest shall be the Deputy Minister for Culture, Tourism and the Creative arts.
