The objectives of the Ishmael Yamson & Associates Business Roundtable are to:
a. provide a platform for executives, senior managers and policy makers to discuss and create an understanding of the current and emerging issues facing the economy of Ghana and businesses operating in the country; and
b. identify potential opportunities that can be exploited to drive our national and enterprise level growth and prosperity.
The Roundtable interactions will enable participants to explore novel approaches to deliver strong and sustainable performance, drawing on examples from various entrepreneurs in Ghana.
The theme for the Ishmael Yamson & Associates Business Roundtable – 2017 is Making Ghana Entrepreneurial and the event will be held on 24th May 2017.
The Speakers this year, are seasoned Private and Public Sector executives who will share rich perspectives on being entrepreneurial in organisations across policy making, the public sector, and the private sector.
The outcomes from the Ishmael Yamson & Associates Business Roundtable – 2017 will be a;
- shared commitment to making Ghana entrepreneurial,
- clear definition of what is required to achieve that,
-the roles policy-makers, Corporate Ghana must play, to aggressively deliver this transformation, and,
- clear identification of the factors that will make Ghanaian businesses competitive in an economy full of uncertainties, starved of consumer cash, bank credit and investment funds, affordable and reliable energy, and the critical infrastructure needed to catalyse growth.
We invite you to join the Roundtable to explore views on how:
a) Policy makers and public sector organisations can become more entrepreneurial in their approach to the business of Government and more effectively facilitate entrepreneurship by the private sector in Ghana.
b) Businesses can become more entrepreneurial and agile, better able to assess risks and competitively leverage advantages in the economic and business environment.
