DJ LINE UP:
♫ DJ LOYD: (GOODHOPE FM)
Most of you know him for his show Weekend Drive (3-6) on GoodHope FM and Mixshow Dj on DJ Euphonik’s “My House” on 5FM. Let us tell you there is a-lot more. Loyiso Mdebuka (DJ Loyd) is a South African born DJ, TV & Radio Presenter, Voice Over Artist and MC who bares host to a kaleidoscope of skills entertaining you both off and on screen. The journey began at the age of 16, evolving into a series of successes. He represented Smirnoff at a campus level as a Smirnoff Spin Agent and achieved top honours. Loyd was chosen as one of 6 up-and-coming South African DJs to represent Smirnoff as a Smirnoff Turntablist DJ. He excelled under the program and was voted Smirnoff Turntablist of the Year. This won him an amazing opportunity to travel to the United States to the Winter Music Conference in Miami. This exposed him to what was happening beyond South African shores. His US trip created the right energy for him to release his first compilation album with one South Africa’s biggest DJs, DJ Euphonik, titled, ‘Euphonik Presents Phuture DJs Volume 1’. As a result, Loyd became a regular Mixshow DJ on 5fm’s ‘My House’. Loyd is with premiere Cape Town radio station, Goodhope FM as a co-host on Weekend Drive. (3-6pm). He founded the Live Out Your Dreams Tour. Which is key to the ethos of the DJ Loyd brand and seeks to help youths unearth their hidden talents and belief. All in all this man knows how to entertain and get a party jumping.
♫ PIERRE-ESTIENNE: (PRIVATE LIFE)
Cape Town-based DJ and record collector, Pierre-Estienne has been an ardent support of quality music ever since he first started diving into the musical hemisphere by collecting music in the late 80s. In 1999 along with Len Wiggins, he opened Phatbeat Records, the first port of call for all of the city’s finest DJ’s, before moving to Asia where he was the resident DJ at the Ministry of Sound in Taipei and a fixture on every dancefloor where quality deep house and disco was played. After leaving his mark firmly on the island he has since returned to Cape Town where he has promoted vinyl culture at Vinyl Digz as well as being the resident DJ at Private Life, one of the city’s longest running house and disco nights. Annual pilgrimages to Berlin with his friend Julz Sanchez have only served to cement his reputation as a much loved and respected DJ the world over.

♫ LAPHIRO_MANIAK: (BIGG FUN MUSIC)
Laphiro Maniak the dancing deejay and entertainer that catches the audience with his smooth and progressive sounds. Growing up in a musical backgroung where he was involved in the school choir (primary and high school) and musical family, you can say music has always been part of his life. Known for his rhythmic dance music and moving vocals, drums and classic baseline, which gets the crowd dancing and spending.Having played alongside various deejays, international and local, it gave me the opportunity to grow and expand the brand to different places in the country (Eastern Cape, Mpumalanga and Gauteng).
“What I love about making music, as cliché as it may sound, is keeping people happy and entertained, the is just too much sadness and anger.”
♫ TRENDYDEEJAY: (BIGG FUN MUSIC)
This youngman boasts an awesome selection of music which fails not to speak to the soul whilst making you dance away. An hour set from this lad, and he will have you on your tippy toes and dancing away to the sounds he delivers. He started producing music in 2009 and shared stages with many heavyweights in the music and entertainment scene. Local radio stations have also been lucky enough to be graced with his presence and talent. In this young individual resides a potential so great that it has to be shared with the rest of the world.
