It is an extinct volcano that is 2490m high and second largest surviving volcanic crater in the world with a surface of 90 sq km. As you ascend, the views over Lake Nakuru are excellent. The crater is enormous… about 12km across and 500 m deep. The whole round trip takes about 5 hours.
