For the past 4 years, Akan Collective has celebrated Kwanzaa in Elmina with our youth arts program.

This year, we are expanding our cross-cultural celebration to the broader community with a festival that will highlight local artists, artisans, musicians, food, dance, and a Kwanzaa ceremony to mark Kuchichagulia, the 2nd day of Kwanzaa.

Youth from our art program will have their artworks on display/sale.
