The third edition of Kumasi Konnect will focus on the topic "Building A Compelling Personal Brand" Our speaker, Dr. Kwasi Baffour Gyimah, will highlight his personal and professional experiences; including key innovative dimensions in the pursuit of personal branding.
Dr. Kwasi Baffour Gyimah is a product of the School of Medical Sciences (SMS-KNUST). He is presently the Medical Superintendent of the Bosomtwi District Hospital in Kuntenanse and is one of the youngest to occupy such a position in the Ashanti Region. He possesses considerable experience in healthcare administration and management having worked previously as the medical director and board member of the Bryan Lowe Orthopedic & General Hospital at Mampong-Akuapim, one of the biggest private medical facilities in Ghana.
Kwasi holds an MSc in Child Health from the University of Warwick Medical School, UK and an MB ChB & BSc (Human Biology) from KNUST Medical School, Ghana. His passion lies in pediatric neurodevelopment and childhood disability.
Kwasi’s initial business, iCommerce (Gh) Ltd., which he co-founded with his childhood friend, was the company that negotiated one of the biggest sponsorship partnerships in Ghanaian football between Kumasi Asante Kotoko and RLG Communications. He has since worked with several startups in Accra and Kumasi, such as Winky’s Expressions, FitVolution By Maabena, Accesorize by Scilla, Nakfram Events & Bubune - providing business development, strategy and branding advice.
Kwasi is an avid reader and takes exceptional interest in global geopolitics.
