Event Details

Kumasi Konnect is an initiative by the Ghana Think Foundation .This meet-up happens every quarter and invites at least 50 young energetic and innovative minds in Kumasi. This event series seeks further to commune the network built out of Barcamp Kumasi.

The primary goal is to showcase the work of local and international entrepreneurs (social), the impact of their organisation and the opportunities for the youth. The event will also bring together innovators and doers in Kumasi, to interact and share ideas that have the propensity for social and economic impact.

This is the 8^th Edition of Kumasi Konnect and our speaker is Dr. Samuel Tinagyei. Tinagyei will focus on the Topic"The Innovator's Brain:harnessing the power of your brain to improve your business".

Samuel Tinagyei is an optometrist, author, speaker and an entrepreneur. He is the C.E.O of Mandate Books and president of the Mandate Book Clubs and street libraries, a social enterprise with a mission to create a culture of reading and problem solving. He works at Amasha Partners Optical Services, Kumasi as a Senior Optometrist. He is the author of four books: Smart Money,Maturity,Managing Stress and It's all in the Mind.

He likes reading, watching football matches (Barcelona is his team), speaking and listening to music and spoken word. He speaks and coaches on personal financial management, optimum health and self development.

The venue is the hapaSpace,Dovewell (THE Village) Building,opposite STC,Adum and the date is 20th April, 2017.
