The primary goal is to showcase the work of local and international entrepreneurs (social), the impact of their organisation and the opportunities for the youth. The event will also bring together innovators and doers in Kumasi, to interact and share ideas that have the propensity for social and economic impact.
This is the 7th Edition of Kumasi Konnect and our speaker is Albert Opoku. Albert will focus on the Topic "When to Quit your job to focus on Your Startup".
Albert Opoku holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting from the University of Ghana, and a Diploma in Project management. He is a Gold Member of the Institute of Customer Service (UK). Albert also holds a post-graduate certificate in Information Entrepreneurship from Stanford University (USA).
He is a co-founder of Hapaweb Solutions. He is a web developer proficient in HTML, CSS, WordPress, Joomla and MS Office applications. He is also a leading member of Ghana’s social media community, contributing to salient national and international issues in various capacities.
Before joining Hapaweb, Albert worked with the British Council where he had served as the Manager for Northern Sector of Ghana and head of the Ghana School’s Team. He was also the Digital Services Manager for Sub-Saharan region, where he was responsible for the British Council’s digital services for 21 countries.
Albert provides trainings in Google Apps, Ms Office, Entrepreneurship and Android device usage. He is passionate about imparting knowledge and sharing his experiences.
