It is organized by the GhanaThink Foundation, and STAR-Ghana, with Citi FM (Omni Media) as a partner.
Date & Time: Tuesday, May 8 - 9am to 2pm.
Venue: KAMA Hall, Mikaddo Plaza, Koforidua
Rate: Free (but you must register or RSVP & spaces are limited)
What to expect?
- Networking with various employers, etc in this region
- There would be better insight on what kinds of employment opportunities should be created in various locations in Ghana and for which sectors.
- Participants would network amongst themselves. This would lead to better partnerships amongst the youth in creating entreprises, access to employment and personal development opportunities and helping each other stay employed.
- Discussing and getting clearer understanding of skills gaps and finding and matching competent labour for industry needs
This is a free event. It is building upon some research work on jobs in Ghana by Ato Ulzen-Appiah (the director of the GhanaThink Foundation), STAR-Ghana's work and Barcamps in Ghana.
