It was during this time that his career really took off. In particular his involvement at the Rainbow Jazz Club- where he and Fellow Students backed top Local and International Jazz Musicians-proved instrumental to his progress.
Already becoming a household name as a disciplined professional jazz vocalist to ever emerge in South Africa post 1990, Kevin Maduna is winning the hearts of South Africa’s music enthusiasts with his smooth sounds. Born and bred in Soweto, this young jazz crooner began his music journey at a tender age and later embarked on a pursuit for musical excellence and technique, he studied music at Central Johannesburg College (diploma in popular music) and is currently working on a Degree in popular music at the prestigious University of South Africa.
