The National Board for Small Scale Industries (NBSSI) is organising a virtual Seminar to mark the celebration of the 2021 International Women's Day (IWD). The objective is to: • Celebrate the tremendous efforts of women and girls around the world in shaping a more equal future for females and curbing the spread of the COVID-19 Pandemic • Celebrate the active participation of women in public decision-making and the elimination of violence as well as the achievement of gender equality and empowerment • Publicize the transformation of NBSSI into the Ghana Enterprises Agency (GEA) and share GEA’s vision for Women Entrepreneurship Development • Mobilize support, inputs, and sponsorship from key stakeholders for leadership in women entrepreneurship to effectively strengthen and accelerate growth. As part of the event, there will activities: Plenary: session for speeches on the theme: “Women in leadership: Achieving an equal future in a COVID-19 world” and high-level panel discussions on the topic: “Creating a level playing field for women participation, the role of Women in Leadership and Governance”.
