In celebration of National Reconciliation Week, the Australian High Commission is pleased to bring talented Aboriginal designer, Arkie Barton, as well as textiles by Aboriginal fashion label, Magpie Goose, to West Africa.
In partnership with the Board of Fashion Ghana and Vickie Remoe and Company, the High Commission will be presenting a range of unique Australian, Ghanaian and Sierra Leonean textiles and designs at fashion shows in Accra and Freetown. The fabrics and designs express the creative wealth, versatility and beauty of Indigenous cultures of Australia, Ghana and Sierra Leone and tell the stories of the designer's people.
The Australian High Commission welcomes you to the two very special shows detailed below, and we thank Emirates Airlines and La Villa Boutique Ghana for their support for these events.
