The Annual International BPO Conference is an annual event where outsourcing professionals come together to focus on leveraging opportunities to create jobs, current best practices and exploring new innovations in the outsourcing industry. The conference was initiated in 2012 by the Uganda Business Process Outsourcing Association (UBPOA) in partnership with National Information Technology Authority of Uganda (NITA-U). The previous conferences were a success as it attracted both local and International participation. Some of the previous partners include NASSCOM a leading trade association of Indian Information Technology (IT) and Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) industry and AVASANT, a firm which provides services in the areas of Strategic Sourcing, Technology Optimization and Globalization Consulting, helping clients achieve superior business outcomes.
