“How to Steal a Dog (개를 훔치는 완벽한 방법)” (2014) “How to Steal a Dog (2014)” is a film based on the homonymous book by American author Barbara O’Connor. ==Synopsis== Ji-so(Re Lee), a ten-year-old girl living in a van with her mother (Hye-jung Kang) and younger brother. Her father disappeared after their pizzeria went bankrupt. One day, Ji-so sees a missing dog poster with a 500-hundred-dollars reward and she believes naively that this amount of money would buy her family a house. She hatches a plan with her friend to find a dog with a rich owner, kidnap it and then return it to its owner to get the reward. Their target is Wolly, the dog of an old rich lady (Hye-ja Kim) who is the owner of the restaurant where Ji-so’s mother works.
