Starting from the Geta Bush area at the local guides and wildlife watchers station, follow the electric fence, cross a crystal-clear stream, and venture through a section of the rainforest. Begin a steep ascent for 3.5km to reach the viewpoints, revealing exciting views of Mt. Kipipiri and the Table Mountain of the Aberdares.

🌄 Table Mountain Detour:
Add a twist to your adventure with a detour to Table Mountain. Trek to the 3rd highest point in one of Kenya's best-hiking destinations, Rurimeria Hill. The views are treacherous through the water bogs, but the reward includes vantage rocks to captivate your imagination.

⏰ Duration:
The trek takes 8-9 hours, testing your endurance and pushing your limits. Physical and psychological preparation is key for those ready to take on this challenging but rewarding journey.

4.30am Depart Nairobi for Rurimeria expected to arrive and to start the hike at 7.30am
12.30pm Enjoy your packed lunch or snacks at the peak as you view the scenic surroundings
7.00 pm Leave Rurimeria for Nairobi expecting to arrive at 10.00pm

What to wear and items to carry:
Comfortable running shoes or waterproof hiking boots preferred, hiking/gym pants (avoid jeans), polyester T-shirt, head torch, sunglasses, hat/cap, camera, binoculars, drinking water (3 litres), sunscreen, insect repellant, heavy snack or picnic lunch, energy bars, poncho or light rain jacket.

Cancellation Policy:
If you cancel more than 48 hours before your scheduled trip departure, 50% of the fee will be charged. If you cancel within 48 hours of your scheduled trip departure, no refund fees will be provided. No shows are responsible for 100% of trip fees.
