Countless Rhinos, Giraffe, Elephants and Lions have been hunted and killed for sport. Recently Cecil the Lion a symbol and mascot for Zimbabwe was hunted down, shot with an arrow and tracked for 48Hrs as he bled to death, only to be finally shot and beheaded leaving behind a litter of cubs that may suffer the same fate unless we take action ! FESTIVAL FOUNDERS Herbert Schwamborn and Martin Stewart are working with limited resources to generate awareness and educate the locals on the importance of Nature and Wildlife Conservation. Our first festival will be dedicated to Cecil the Lion #LIONPAW and will be a platform for local and international artists to speak up in defence of these poor animals that are voiceless. The event which will stream live over the internet will allow a platform for dialogue and exchange globally on ideas on how to improve the sanctuary of our treasured wildlife. Tourists are being invited to attend the festival which will include Musical events, Arts, Organised Tours and Safaris through some of Zimbabwe’s remaining National Parks or just log on and stream our events.
