THE GOSPEL!! WHAT IS IT? In the Greek, it is the word, euggelion, which we loosely translate as good-news. But even this does not do justice to it as it is superlative: it means the good, happy news that makes one jump for joy. In other words, the news that is too good, yet it is true. It is the message the Lord Jesus preached; the message of the kingdom, that God’s dominion, God’s help, God’s operation is NOW with us. The total ramifications of this are beyond words: that you and I can be one with God and operate like Him? This is mind-blowing, yet it is true.
