In celebrating the 13th Edition of the RDB gorilla naming ceremony in Musanze, we are organizing the Gorilla Run Rwanda high school edition to run in parallel during Kwita Izina 2017. This event is a community platform for portraying the success of community and conservation for tourism along with a community campaign to Protect Rwanda’s Environment, wildlife and Culture. The event will feature activities open to the public which showcase community tourism activities and celebrate KWITA IZINA while emphasizing the need for conservation and protection of our natural and cultural resources for sustainable tourism. The High School Gorilla Run Rwanda will provide children in Musanze community with alternative activities like debate and a mini conference to indulge in while encouraging community participation from the grass roots communities of Musanze.
