So all you have to do is get yourself up the mountain. You will start the climb on Tuesday around noon and come off the mountain on Thursday afternoon. We will pick you up and take you to the Aberdare Country Club for some well deserved R&R and hot bathes. Friday we will travel back to Nairobi for your flight out.
THE ARK in the Aberdare National Park, Aberdare Country Club, and Ol Pejeta Conservancy ~ We will leave with the Mt. Kenya and drop the climbers off and then take you to the Aberdare Country Club where you will head into the Aberdare National Park. The park is really a mountain range with an elevation of 6200 ft up to 13,100 ft above sea level. It is filled with forests, ravines, bamboo thickets and moorlands. It is home to leopards, elephants, buffalo, lion and plus more, including the rare and illusive Bongo. If you are a birder - it is home to over 250 species. You will spend the your first night at THE ARK which is a lodge situated inside the park at a watering hole which has flood lights at night and 4 different wildlife viewing decks. The animals - come to you!
Wednesday you come back to Aberdare Country Club and enjoy lunch and the entire day having R&R with optional activities (horse back riding, golf, swimming etc) On Thursday you have the option of visiting Ol Pejeta Conservancy known for its Rhinos and other wildlife.
The Mt Kenya climbers will join us in the late afternoon. Friday we travel back to Nairobi for your flight out.
