The festival attracts scores of local and international artists and patrons. Our Ghana Chale Wote 2020 tour will bring you to the heart of the action for 11 days and 10 nights. Your time will start in the capital city of Accra, where you’ll hit the streets and enjoy the vibrant art and music scene at the 2020 edition of the Chale Wote Festival. You'll also visit important city landmarks like Kwame Nkrumah Park, Independence Square and Jamestown Lighthouse. You’ll shop for African clothing, art and jewelry and enjoy the good vibes and fun on Labadi Beach. Next, you’ll move on to the Central region, where you’ll visit historical sites related to the trans-Atlantic slave trade and walk thru the treetops at Kakum National Park. Next, you’ll travel to the Ashanti region, where you'll visit several cultural centers, craft villages and the Ashanti palace. You’ll have an official welcome and a traditional naming ceremony where you’ll receive a Ghanaian name. Your time in Ghana will end at our farewell dinner party, where you’ll have one last frolic in the Motherland before departing for your return home.
