GLOBAL ENVIRONMENT FACILITY SMALL GRANTS PROGRAMME (GEF-SGP)NIGERIA KNOWLEDGE FAIR AND EXHIBITION The Global Environment Facility Small Grants Programme (GEF-SGP), implemented by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), is organizing her maiden National Knowledge Fair and Exhibition at the Sheraton Hotel, Abuja on Wednesday, 7th June, 2017 and a concluding Variety Night in the evening. Participants expected at the event include Embassies, Multilateral Agencies, Federal Government Agencies and the Private Sector. The programme is intended to create a platform to engage all stakeholders maximally for the purpose of up scaling SGP projects thereby enhancing environmental management and sustainable livelihood in Nigeria. The event will also lead to the development of a National information management structure between the government and the network of civil society groups who are working on sustainable environment and development in the region. We hope that one of the outcomes of the event will be the identification of possible areas of collaboration among stakeholders and particularly, get sustainable partnerships for GEF-SGP Nigeria projects.
