CREATIVE WRITING WORKSHOP with Edwige Dro
8th – 20th March
Every evening during two weeks, a group of French speakers interested in creative writing will follow a writing workshop with Ivorian writer and translator Edwige-Renée Dro, laureate of Africa39. Each of the participants will work on his own short story, learn new techniques and develop his style.

Meeting of minds across languages – in partnership with Abuja Literary Society

Edwige-Renée Dro, together with a group of Nigerian authors will present their works and exchange on the topic of literary translation. Check our website for an update on the date and venue.

Francophonie closing concert: JEREMIAH GYANG
Saturday 25th March, 7pm

Singer, song writer, multi-instrumentalist, native of Jos, Plateau State in Nigeria, Jeremiah began playing the Piano and Guitar before reaching the age of ten. He is credited as being responsible for bringing contemporary Hausa music to the mainstream with hits like ‘Na Ba Ka’ (I give you), a song featuring Six Foot Plus and ‘Kaunar Allah’ (God’s Love) featuring Rapper, M.I.

Join us for the last open air concert before the rainy season, and be prepared to dance!
