Join us for a week of francphonie celebrations! French cuisine, writing workshop, Jeremiah Gyang live... check the programme below: CREATIVE WRITING WORKSHOP with Edwige Dro 8th – 20th March Every evening during two weeks, a group of French speakers interested in creative writing will follow a writing workshop with Ivorian writer and translator Edwige-Renée Dro, laureate of Africa39. Each of the participants will work on his own short story, learn new techniques and develop his style. ----------------------------------------------------- Meeting of minds across languages – in partnership with Abuja Literary Society Edwige-Renée Dro, together with a group of Nigerian authors will present their works and exchange on the topic of literary translation. Check our website for an update on the date and venue. ----------------------------------------------------- Goût de France // taste the best of French gastronomy! From Monday 20th to Thursday 23rd March In Abuja: Hélène's Bistrot, Zuma Grill (Transcorp Hilton), Chez Victor and Grand Square Wine & Bar Restaurant. Every year, Goût de France/ Good France celebrates French gastronomy in various locations worldwide. He is credited as being responsible for bringing contemporary Hausa music to the mainstream with hits like ‘Na Ba Ka’ (I give you), a song featuring Six Foot Plus and ‘Kaunar Allah’ (God’s Love) featuring Rapper, M.I.
