February's coffee meetup is on Wednesday Feb 4th at 6pm, and the theme is Madagascar, Kenya, & Tanzania! The itinerary: 6pm - the event starts, people arrive 6-7pm - people get coffee/tea/soda etc, find seats & meet/chat 7-8pm - the 3 presenters give their 15 minute talk about the countries, give tips for traveling there, and answer audience questions etc 8-9pm - a chance to chat with the presenters one on one, or anyone else. It's a social hour to mingle, some people leave around 8 since the presentations are over but we can stay in Howlin Hounds until 9pm. For people who haven't had a chance to make it to one of our travel coffee meetups before, we have a great attendance of around 35-50 travelers who attend which really shows how large the Omaha travel community really is. We'll also have 3 people with travel experiences give a brief talk about their travels to Tanzania, Kenya, & Madagascar. ***Let me know if you've either traveled to or lived in Tanzania, Kenya, & Madagascar. We're looking for a few people to give a 10-15 minute chat about your experience*** Our one and only Howlin' Hounds Coffee Shop is (as always!) hosting our travel event. The owner Greg has always been a great support for travelers & the Omaha community and in return we get to help support Howlin Hounds.
