Every year around International Human Rights Day on December 10, hundreds of thousands of people around the world participate in Amnesty International’s Write for Rights actions. Their actions help convince government officials to release people imprisoned for expressing their opinion (called "prisoners of conscience" by Amnesty), stop the use of torture, commute death sentences, and end other human rights abuses. Amnesty International is organising a spoken word event in support of Fred and Yves. The DRC government has tried to silence youth in DRC by keeping Fred and Yves in prison, but people around the world will speak out for them! FREE ENTRY
