GHANA TRIP DESCRIPTION
Ghana, formerly known as the “Gold Coast,” is conveniently located on the West Coast of Africa and is home to countless breathtaking adventures.
During your time in Ghana be prepared for a life changing experience as we visit slave castles and hear the stories of the last days for many Africans on the continent before sent on slave ships to the West. Walk through a tree-top canopy 100 feet in the air and eat, dance and get to know fellow Ghanaians on the beautiful Bojo or Labadi Beach.
Witness the Chale Wote Street Art Festival in Accra which brings thousands of people to Ghana’s capital for around for festivities, including film premieres, skate shows, gallery shows (more than 200 artists exhibit work), and music and dance.
Take in Pan African lessons of W.E.B. Dubois, Malcolm X, Maya Angelou, Marcus Garvey, Kwame Nkrumah, Haile Selassie I and other legends at the W.E.B. Dubois Memorial Centre. Take time to relax and shop before ending your Ghanaian holiday.
