EOWct11 ∞ A DECADE OF EDGE OF WRONG ∞ three days of provocative music
Starts: Friday, 22 April, 2016 06:00pm
Ends: Sunday, 24 April, 2016 09:59pm
The Edge of Wrong invites you to join us for our tenth annual music festival, happening in Cape Town from the 22nd to 24th of April and featuring a diverse range of international and local artists representing a wide range of experimental, uncompromising and dangerous music.
In celebration of our first ten years of existence, during which time we have hosted more than 30 cutting-edge events, we've compiled an extra-eclectic line-up of South African and Norwegian musicians, including Daniel McKenzie, Mandla Mlangeni, Gunfire Orchestra (Reza Khota, Beat Keller and Morten Minothi Kristiansen), Arnfinn Killingtveit, Kenneth Angerhand and Amantha, Ad undas, Brendon Bussy, Justin Allart and Hezron Chetty.
Expect everything from feedback guitar and malfunctioning drum machines to improv violin, dance-controlled piano and walls of screeching noise from hand-built instruments.
Our Cape Town venues will be confirmed soon and we'll update our website with full details (including news of some exciting workshops) in the next couple of days.
PS: We'll also be hosting a special one-night gig in Johannesburg on the 15th of April. Details coming shortly!

A BIT MORE ABOUT EDGE OF WRONG:
Currently in its tenth year, the EDGE OF WRONG festival is an established production network intent on creating a sustainable environment for quality music and art of an exploratory nature. EOW prioritises collaboration between different cultural groupings, most notably South Africans and Norwegians. We believe that the arts provide invaluable and necessary means to bridge differences and expand knowledge systems, and that collaborative creative projects bring individuals together, facilitating lasting connections between communities.
