We put quality first in delivering a comprehensive and effective professional service for dyslexic people and those with specific learning differences on a not-for-profit basis across education, governance, policy and training facilitation. Our organisation focuses on the UN sustainable development goal 4: Ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all and goal 10: Reducing inequalities and ensuring no one is left behind. As part of our work, we are pleased to host a Dyslexia Education Stakeholders Forum on Monday, December 12, 2022, at the Africa Regent Hotel Accra, Ghana. The stakeholder’s forum will bring together stakeholders and policymakers from the Ministry of Education, Ghana Education Service, Ministry of Health, partner organisations; NoticeAbility a dyslexia awareness non-profit based in the United States, Dyslexia Ghana, parents, heads of private and public schools in Accra, and leaders of civil society organisations to discuss ways in which Ghanaian schools can effectively support students with dyslexia and identify their unique strengths and build self-esteem. Moreover, the Forum will bring together about 100 to 120 stakeholders to share and reflect on best learning practices that can equip Ghanaian schools to support parents and students who face diverse learning needs in our schools.
