At the heart of the issues plaguing Africa’s largest nation and biggest economy are corruption, lack of accountability, lack of transparency and a feeling of helplessness by the people. Amidst growing economic and security concerns, the Nigerian populace has been caught in a vicious cycle of undependable leadership. If democracy, rule of law and good governance will prevail in Nigeria, much of the populace, especially youths, would have to be adequately informed and ready to play a vital role in demanding accountability and transparency in the most strategic ways possible. We seek youths between the age of 18 to 35 who are ready to make a difference and ready to impact their circle of influence by being proactive, solution provider and engaging in a way like never before.DATE: MAY 29TH 2017VENUE: NIGERIAN INSTITUTE OF JOURNALISM, OGBA, LAGOSTIME: 10AM TO 3PM
