If You Could Change Her Story, Would You?

For many girls, especially those living in poverty, rural areas, or facing harmful practices like child marriage, FGM, or gender-based violence—going to school is a dream out of reach. Teen mothers, orphaned girls, and girls with disabilities face overwhelming barriers with little support.

We believe every girl deserves a chance. That’s why we work with communities and change-makers to put girls’ education and health at the center of everything. Because when a girl goes to school, her future changes—and so does the future of her family, community, and country.

That is why Change for Girls Initiative (CGI) and youth-led Fitness Dance groups are organizing the annual Dance2Educate event on Friday, 8th Aug 2025 at Carnivore Restaurant, Nairobi from 6 PM to 11 PM EAT. Through Dance2Educate, we use fitness dance as a tool for advocacy and engagement, empowering adolescents and young people through Mentorship, Health Promotion, and Education.
