This training impacts a comprehensive set of knowledge required for lending to the SME sector. It among others seeks to equip those involved in the lending process with the requisite tools and techniques needed to make informed decisions when granting and monitoring loans to SME clients. This three-day training program seeks to build the analytical skills of Credit Officers in evaluating the creditworthiness of Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) accessing loans from a financial institution. It also teaches participants a combination of both qualitative and quantitative assessment of SMEs as a business entity, the management and the performance of the business in making lending decisions.
