South African National Beer Day – 4 Feb 2017 Come spend your day at the Common Room in honour of our favorite bevvy as we serve up two limited edition, 100% South Afican Ales from 12h00. We also have Justin from Fighting Bear Brewery and Rob from Damnation Brewing Co. who will be hard at work milling, mashing, boiling and hopping to produce their next brilliant brew. For those that might get peckish, Wahine food truck promises to quell any hunger pains with their popular Polynesian inspired eats – only this time they are offering a unique food and beer pairing experience. The pairing will be available between 16h00 and 20h00 and the menu for the day includes: R60 Half | R100 Whole Crispy Crunchy Deep Fried Chicken Basket R50 Boerie Roll R60 Polynesian Pork on a Sweet Potato Bun R60 South African style Cheese Burger R30 Crispy Chips To top it all off, our resident DJ Nick Birkby will throw down some tunes from 17h00 and will later be joined by DJ Atang to ensure the celebrations keep going well into the evening.
