The 5th Library and Information Week (LIW) celebration is scheduled for the 25th – 29th September 2017. The theme for the week-long celebration is “Libraries: Transforming Ghanaian Economy”. The official launch of the 5th LIW is slated for Tuesday, 26th September, 2017 in Kumasi, in the Ashanti Region. Further details for the hosting of the program in Kumasi will soon be communicated to members. Also, all libraries are entreated to carry out some form of activities to mark the occasion. Members are kindly requested to send reports of their activities during the LIW to the Secretary so that they would be widely publicized on the GLA website and Facebook page. Thank you
