INVESTING IN THE YOUTH SECURING OUR FUTURE THROUGH OPPORTUNITIES FOR WORK & NATION BUILDING
The Nation Builders Corps (NABCO) was initiated to address the growing problem of graduate unemployment in Ghana. Following the announcement of 100,000 opportunities by his excellency the President Nana Addo Danquah Akuffo Addo on 1st May 2018.
In celebration of the 1-Year anniversary of NABCO, a national delegate conference culminating in a food and musical festival will be held on the 17-19th of October 2019. Preceding the 3-day national conference will be regional level events as a build to the main annual events. The regional event will start from the 14-16th of October 2019.
Each region is expected to select a community impact activity that involve the wider community.
The NABCO anniversary conference is a paid conference and it is delegate-based. The conference is structure to be opened with a key note address leading to the launch of NABCO's new learning platform. A panel of expert on employment and careers, followed by expert run workshops lasting the 2 days. The third day is set aside for the youth festival: a display of various cultures, exhibitions, food ending with a music festival.
