As part of developing a world class human resource base to meet global development challenges, the Centre annually runs a career fair. During the career fair, students get to interact with various corporate bodies which participate in the fair. This is usually through a range of educative and informative programmes outlined for the fair. The Career Fair 2017 themed, “Own Your Career; Don’t Dream, Be it” purports to bring participants nothing but the best of the world of work. In addition to the main career fair which would run for three days, other activities such as the International Day, CV Clinic, Preparation for the job market, The UG Corporate Icon, Entrepreneurship workshop and Relationship Night are lined-up for students during the five-day fair. The 2017 Career Fair is designed to help students find out more about current practices in the working world, to explore different fields and career paths, and to develop a network of contacts for their future job search.
