BLIND DATE brings together two people with two perspectives from different cultural regions of this world and bring them into exchange with each other, to discuss differences and similarities, discover new perspectives and broaden our horizon of understanding.

— Petra Stegmann
Petra Stegmann is a historian, curator and author, specializing in contemporary art and action art of the 20th and 21st centuries (Fluxus, happening, body art). Since autumn 2018, she has been the director of Kunsthalle Wilhelmshaven. She contributed conceptually to BEAUTY POLITICS, a series of events held at the House of World Cultures (Berlin) in the framework of ABOUT BEAUTY. Within these curatorial projects, cultural, historic and everyday aspects of beauty were explored. Filmmakers, architects, musicians, designers, and others, both exhibited or performed their works and used them as a basis for more general, and informal comments on beauty. Petra Stegmann is co-editor of the anthology "Beauty: Conceptions in Art, Media and Everyday Culture” (2006).

— Accra born artist, Andy Madjitey is a director, photographer and creative Director who started out with phone photography documenting youth and street culture. He is inspired by authenticity, a consistent theme in his work.
