Film screening!! Documentary: Blickwechsel Every year, more than 3000 (mostly young) Germans travel to Africa to do a volunteer service in a social institution or NGO. The motivations of the travelers are manifold. However mostly it´s their personal experiences, narrations and reports that shape the public perception in Germany of volunteer services in Africa. What do people of those countries, the volunteers work in, think about the coming and going of the German guests? Which visible and invisible marks do these young people leave behind in the projects? People from South Africa, Ghana and Gambia with different connections to the volunteers portray their perceptions and experiences in BLICKWECHSEL.
