ABOUT THE TALK Join GoDown Executive Director, Joy Mboya, and artists from around Kenya at the Urembo exhibit space (at the Creativity Gallery of the National Museum) to talk about the Kenyan arts practice - how do we encourage those younger than us, how to we communicate and learn from our elders, how do we engage our communities in order to grow the arts in Kenya. This talk will be held on Tues, 28 November at 11:00 am. This public event is part of a series of workshops accompanying the UREMBO and HEKIMA exhibitions. We hope you will stop by the two exhibitions at the National Museum and join us for the other events. ABOUT UREMBO AND HEKIMA Urembo (Beauty) and Hekima (Wisdom) exhibitions at the National Museum of Kenya explore the beauty and wisdom of Kenyan cultural practices. Both exhibitions run from 10 November 2017 to 31 January 2018. OTHER UREMBO/HEKIMA EVENTS Every Wednesday from November 15 to January 31, there will be a guided walk of the Peace Path at the National Museum from 12 noon to 1 pm.
