ABOUT THE TALK Join artists from around Nairobi and educators from KU in a discussion about how culture and arts education in Kenya is changing, what the challenges and opporuntities are, and the different ways we can encourage arts practices. This talk will be held at the Ford Hall at the National Museum from 11:00 am on Tues, 14 November. This public event is part of a series of workshops accompanying the UREMBO and HEKIMA exhibitions. ABOUT UREMBO AND HEKIMA Urembo (Beauty) and Hekima (Wisdom) exhibitions at the National Museum of Kenya explore the beauty and wisdom of Kenyan cultural practices. Both exhibitions run from 10 November 2017 to 31 January 2018. OTHER UREMBO/HEKIMA EVENTS Every Wednesday from November 15 to January 31, there will be a guided walk of the Peace Path at the National Museum from 12 noon to 1 pm.
