This workshop is designed to teach you about letting go, placing trust and the surrender of control. Here are a few constructive behaviours bondage can help with: · Old childhood wounds and conditioning that hold you back in your life and sexual relationships · Your unconscious patterns of, and relationship to, power and control · An inner conflict between the mind, heart and gut · How vulnerability holds a key to deep intimacy and personal empowerment · The unlimited depths to which you can receive, give and experience pleasure You will benefit from this if: This workshop is aimed at all male individuals (men who are curious) who wish to grow personally, sexually, explore, fantasy and to improve their relationship. This workshop is right for you if you have one or more of the following needs / thoughts below: · You've been secretly excited about the idea of bondage or spanking but were too afraid or shy to admit to or explore it · You've been curious but wasn't sure how to approach it with a partner, practically where to start or had concerns around emotional or physical safety · You experienced some form of physical or emotional abuse as a child · You find yourself predominantly controlling or submissive in any area of your life in a way that doesn't feel empowering to you or your relationships · You are wanting to become more empowered in your life and your relationships · You'd like to deep your sexual intimacy and connection in a way that is emotionally safe, respectful and honouring Workshop outcomes Attending this workshop you will learn about and find opportunities to have experiences in: · Boundaries and consent · Dynamics of power and vulnerability · The basics of spanking, rope play and talking dirty · Basic rope use, knots and safety Workshop prerequisite Generally, anyone can participate in a workshop, unless it is labeled "advanced." What if I want to drop out at some point? · Of course that is your prerogative, but you would risk missing the benefit of the program. You might compare that to taking an half-baked bread out of the oven? Can we participate as a couple? · Absolutely! Or you can participate in our workshops by yourself, as a single, while being in a relationship or with your partner or partners. Can your workshops endanger a relationship? Basically, they don't. Couple's who participate in our workshops receive from us the support they need. Problems tend to arise, when the partners hold different beliefs regarding contact and intimacy with other men. We mediate the exchange around these issues or help you to start one. Fear and jealousy are often the result of a lack of communication. We have seen that our workshops can accelerate existing or latently smouldering conflicts. Sometimes a workshop helps to really see what is going on. Our work strengthens the conscious awareness for the real needs of each individual partner as well as the appreciation of the multifaceted uniqueness of the relationship between them. If a conflict arises during a workshop, additional further (possibly therapeutic) support might be useful. Meditation is a beautiful tool to create a distance from where it is easier to be calmer and less emotionally charged, and to identify beliefs or roles that need strengthening or that don't serve anymore. This can be the beginning of a new chapter in the relationship. What if I fall in love with another participant? · Welcome it. That’s something we can’t control, can we? Depending on the specific circumstances we then would discuss with you how best to proceed. It certainly could be a great topic to include into your overall process? What if I can’t stand one of the other participants in the group? · Fantastic! Just like real life, isn’t it. Except, now you have to deal with it. But how? That is exactly the kind of thing we will address. Also, through your work with yourself your perception of others will change for the better. What if I get an erection or/and pre-cum · You are a man, aren’t you! This is what we do, we get erections and pre-cum – this is one of the nature’s wonders! · Please embrace your maleness – we deprive ourself from pleasure, contentment and of maleness due to embarrassment of our bodies, our penises, preferences and past. How many participants will the group have? · Min 10 – Max 24, also depends on the capacity of the venue Is this a residential workshop? · No, than means you can sleep at home, except in the case of the training or workshop that is referred to as "retreat". Retreats are inclusive of common meals and spending the nights on the premises in order to retain the group energy. Thereby, group activities can also start very early and go on until late. Challenge yourself Our workshops are a challenge on many levels. They form an entirely special framework that has little to do with usual thought concepts and standards of behaviour. They are for people, who care about wanting to find something and who want to go on new paths. All that you need for the workshops is your readiness to test your boundaries and perhaps redefine them. In your decision to participate, simply let yourself by led by the subject that particularly speaks to you Workshop presenter - Stephen Tredrea Stephen is a coach, counselor, conscious dance facilitator and Tantra practitioner based in Cape Town, South Africa with an interest in expressing unique potential, magnificence and aliveness in daily life. He takes a sex-positive approach to conscious awakening, working with desire as a gateway to experiencing Divine. He incorporates all techniques and modalities in his workshops to let the participants deal with past traumas, fear/guilt/shame of sexuality, intimacy, relationship, self-acceptance, love and surrender to our innate magnificence.
