Art Exhibition: The Green Orange⁠

⁠Isabel Abreu was born in #Mozambique and lives between #Portugal and #Ghana. Gets inspiration from daily life and the unseen layers of life. She uses art to convey what she feels when she walks around. Mainly she sees connection: joy, love, fun, beauty, above all the other more earthy layers. ⁠

In this exhibition Isabel displays her series titled “the Green Orange”, where she uses collage and mixed media on paper (gouache, crayon, markers, color pencil…) in a flowy and intuitive way, where color splashes and marks direct the shapes that Isabel draws out of it. ⁠

The Green Orange is a way of seeing, beyond words, just like the orange in Ghana, that is…green.⁠
