The African Angel Academy together with Accra Angel Network and Ghana Angel Investor Network(GAIN), are hosting this upcoming in-person angel investor meetup in Accra.

The purpose of this meetup is to provide an opportunity for our investors from across our communities to (finally) meet, and network. It will also serve as a platform for interactive discussions, fostering meaningful connections, and addressing any questions on connecting with your local community of investors supporting startups in Ghana.

About the African Angel Academy

The African Angel Academy (AAA) (www.africanangelacademy.com) is an African-led initiative that aims to train and support angel investors through a self-paced online course or sponsored cohort programme. Since launching in early 2020, the Academy has enrolled over 448 angel investors from 18+ countries through the programme.

The Academy was established as a pilot project by Viridian and Viktoria Ventures, with the endorsement of the African Business Angel Network(ABAN).

About Accra Angel Network

Accra Angels Network provides the platform for ‘mid-to-high’ net worth individuals or institutions to invest their funds and resources in Ghanaian based early stage businesses, which have a significant growth potential, a latent ability to generate disproportionate returns, and demonstrable social and economic impact.

About GAIN

Ghana Angel Investor Network(GAIN) was launched in 2011 by the Venture Capital Trust Fund. In 2021, Impact Investing Ghana, the Ghana National Advisory Board for Impact Investing took over the hosting of the GAIN secretariat. GAIN was restructured into the apex body for angel networks in Ghana to support the creation and growth of angel networks. In addition, we bring together a small group of leading angel investors in Ghana who invest in small and growing businesses.
