The AIA FUTURE OF WORK IN AFRICA 2018 themed  “Enhancing Partnerships for 21st Century Skills: Youth as JOB CREATORS, not JOB SEEKERS, using AIAs Approach” seeks to engage prominent figures, AIA fellows, and Mentors who have compelling stories to share. The speakers will interact and share ideas with the AIA community in an open, interactive, and fun space that allows for networking, inspirational, and engaging talks. 

In the course of the event, a quick graduation ceremony will be held for our 5th and 6th cohorts. As part of the graduation, cohorts will share their experiences and impact of AIA’s Internship on them. Certificates will be awarded and presentations made, after that participants will have the opportunity to meet new people and network extensively.

The fundamental vision of AIA’s annual Community Event is to collectively deliberate on policies and strategies that will provide African youths with excellent opportunities to enhance their employability and improve the productivity of enterprises. It also looks at the relevance and impact of programs and interventions of partner organizations like Africa Internship Academy in helping graduates jump-start their careers and equipping them with sound foundations in entrepreneurship.
