WHY THIS? Afenmai Youth Productivity Summit is born out of the desire to build a united, competitive, self-reliant community enthroned with set of values and morals to guide this young generation on the path of purpose. A share-learning programme to re-orientate, stimulate creativity and innovation while empowering our youth with entrepreneurial skills. Our aim is to help proffer solutions to the challenges caused by unemployment; which has forced youth into engaging in all forms of social vices; led many into raping, several unwanted pregnancies, and most especially the rampage of cultism in our community. Research has shown that hopelessness, lack of clear purpose coupled with societal uncertainty created fear that forced our young and vibrant youth into becoming fraudsters; thousands of them had crossed while others perished on the coastline of the Mediterranean Sea on their quest for a greener pasture. This is an audacious summit set to bring together six traditional rulers council under Afenmai, Chiefs, Youth delegates, Religious bodies, all Afenmai sons and daughters and seasoned entrepreneurs to sensitise, orientate and motivate our youth to embrace entrepreneurship. Youth will be exposed to creative and innovative business, career and life-winning models that has worked for other youth all over the world. All sons and daughters of Afenmai are invited to attend this program as it is a moment of reunion, networking and refreshing.
