The University of Global Health Equity (UGHE) is hosting a 2-day Conference entitled: “Advancing Medical Education in Africa, A Collaborative Leadership Conference”. This event will focus on the theme of Innovation in Medical Education Practices, covering sub-themes such as New Digital Technologies, Artificial Intelligence, Simulation-Based Education, Global Health, Social Medicine, and Leadership and Partnership.

This conference aims to address health inequities in Africa by building a robust healthcare system that meets the needs of the population. In Sub-Saharan Africa, a significant disparity exists, with 24% of global diseases reported but only 4% of the world's medical workforce available.
