This year, the Rio Carnival takes place from February 13 to 18 and we will celebrate it in Accra on SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 14.

Since 2012. for all of us who cannot go to Rio de Janeiro :-) and in partnership with the Brazilian community of Accra and the Accra Diplomatic Club, accraexpat.com organizes its "Rio Carnival Party" in Accra.

Samba, Bossa Nova, Funk Carioca, Electrobrasil and Latino music will keep this Carnival do Brazil party going through the night. A music diversity of the deep rooted Afro-Latin rhythms that conquered the world.

The party will be held again outdoor under the trees of Toro Tapas Bar, decorated for the occasion
Time: this year, we will open from 6:00pm intead of 9:00pm so guests can come early and enjoy the Brazilian menu, music and ambiance before the party starts.
Where: Toro Tapas Bar, the Spanish restaurant and bar at Afrikiko Gardens, just north of Ring Road at Ako Adjei interchange and across the French Embassy - Tel.: 0202 261 001 / 0506 531 836.
How: GHS 20.00 single, GHS 30.00 couple, at the door (16 and above only). Tickets at the door.
A special Brazilian (and Spanish menu) will be on offer.
Cash bar, including the famed Caipirinha, the national cocktail of Brazil!

A face mask will be given to all guests but dressing Carnival-style is up to you! Prizes for the best dressed.
